Delete your Kobul account and data
Request deletion of your Kobul account (Kobul, by Kobul) and the personal data attached to it. You can do this here without installing the app.
Request deletion
- 1. Enter the mobile number your account is registered with. We send a 6-digit code to it.
- 2. Enter that code and your reason to confirm. The code proves the account is yours, so nobody else can request deletion on your behalf.
What happens after you request deletion?
- Your profile is hidden from other users straight away.
- You have a 30-day recovery period. Logging back in to the Kobul app during that time cancels the request and restores your account.
- After 30 days your account and personal data (profile, matches, messages, images) are permanently deleted, along with your Kobul login.
- This cannot be undone once the recovery period ends.
What we may have to keep
Reports made against your account, and records of payments, are retained for longer where we need them for safety, fraud prevention or legal compliance. Everything else goes with the account.
Prefer to do it in the app?
If you still have the Kobul app installed, the same request can be made from inside it:
- Open the Kobul app and go to the My Biodata tab.
- Tap the Settings icon at the top.
- Scroll down and tap "একাউন্ট ডিলিট করুন" (Delete Account).
- Give a reason and confirm.
